Built by an operator who's been at the front edge of every digital shift for more than twenty years.
Generaite Digital is a systems-first business modernization consultancy. We help established businesses build smarter operating environments by integrating modern tools, visibility infrastructure, AI systems, and custom solutions into one connected system.
Generaite Digital is founded and led by Michael Brillantes.
I've spent more than twenty years working at the front edge of digital technology, starting before most of the platforms in use today existed.
The shift that started everything
My career began at the transition from analog to digital. As a musician, film director, and editor, I moved into digital music production as the industry was making that shift, producing music for major record labels including Capitol Records, Sony Columbia, and DreamWorks Records. As digital video production began to scale, I started creating video content for those productions, and the work led me into brand-side content development as the next platform shift arrived.
YouTube and the attention shift
In 2006, YouTube launched. I saw what it was going to become and moved early. I ran video content for Hot Import Nights, the national touring car show that fueled the cultural scene behind the Fast and Furious franchise. The content I produced for the 25-city tour reached millions of views on YouTube in its earliest era.
Content as a recruiting channel
During the same period, I produced a year-long digital content campaign for the National Guard as a separate engagement. The work centered on their custom car build program, purpose-built vehicles designed to generate visibility among custom car enthusiasts. I produced the digital content documenting the builds and the surrounding culture, giving the Guard a presence in a community traditional recruiting channels could not reach. It was early proof that content could open doors that advertising could not.
The first operating system
Spent over a decade as Digital Director on the engagement for The Original Farmers Market Los Angeles, building the connected digital infrastructure across more than 100 independent vendors operating at one address. Content systems, audience architecture, and paid media infrastructure designed as one operating layer. The work began when Facebook ads were brand new and Google Ads were still rounding into shape. Most local businesses did not believe digital applied to them yet. This was technology-forward thinking applied to a complex coordination problem, and it was the moment content work became systems work.
Live production at the front edge of VR
As live event and brand activation work scaled, I moved into virtual reality at its earliest commercial moment, architecting the production and technical infrastructure for Coachella's first live VR broadcast to YouTube Live, then Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and headline performances from artists including The Chainsmokers, Anderson Paak, Marshmello, and DJ Mustard.
Each of those productions was a logistics and infrastructure problem. Multi-city coordination, real-time encoding, vendor management across dozens of partners. The systems I built to make the content possible were more interesting than the content itself.
Attention redistributed
Each shift taught the same lesson. The infrastructure of attention had been redistributed.
That insight reframed how I thought about marketing entirely. The question stopped being "how do we buy attention." It became "how do we build systems that earn it." And that question kept expanding, from systems that earn attention, to systems that run how a business operates.
The current shift
The current shift is AI. It is the largest shift yet, and it is happening faster than any of the prior transitions. Tools that once required enterprise budgets are now accessible to small and mid-sized operators. Capabilities that took development teams now take a configured system. In commercial technology, the constraint is no longer access. It is knowing what to use, how to integrate it into a business, and how to build systems that actually fit how a company operates.
Generaite Digital was built for that moment.
Most businesses are not behind because they lack ambition. They are behind because the technology landscape moves faster than they can absorb it.
Generaite is a systems-first business modernization consultancy. It is the synthesis of everything I've learned across more than twenty years of working at the front edge of digital change.
The thesis is simple. New tools, new platforms, new capabilities arrive constantly, and businesses end up with fragmented systems, half-implemented software, and marketing that isn't connected to operations.
Generaite solves that by acting as the modernization layer. We integrate the right tools, build custom systems where off-the-shelf options don't fit, install the visibility infrastructure across SEO, local search, and AI-driven discovery, and make sure the systems actually support how the business runs. Enterprise-level capability. Proportionate infrastructure.
We design systems with security and auditability as first principles, including for businesses operating in regulated environments.
The work spans business systems, visibility, AI implementation, CRM and operational infrastructure, and custom application development. The common thread is that everything is connected. Nothing operates as an isolated tactic.
The modernization thesis has been validated through Generaite's work with Signworld Owners Alliance, a national alliance whose 340 member companies rely on a single operating platform. Generaite provides digital systems and managed services under agreement with Signworld Owners Alliance. Generaite built and operates the custom platform their owners use to run the alliance's infrastructure, manages hosting for the alliance's client-facing web properties, and serves as the digital systems provider across the operational stack. The engagement is the working proof of what systems-first modernization looks like at scale.
Partnerships, not transactions.
I'm a founder-operator. That means I'm involved in strategy, sales, solution architecture, and delivery oversight on every engagement at this stage of the company. The engagements I take on are partnerships, not transactions. The strongest results come from clients who want to modernize their operating environment, not clients who want to buy tactics.
I work with fewer businesses, more deeply. If you're looking for a transactional provider, Generaite isn't the right fit. If you're looking for someone to help you build a smarter operating layer for your business, that's the work.
The work starts with a Foundation Optimization and grows from there. Websites ship in 45 to 60 days. Visibility, CRM, and automation engagements layer on after the optimization is live. The constant is that I stay involved past launch, because systems that aren't maintained don't compound.
Twenty years of operating at the front edge.
Produced and directed the live game launch activation on the Santa Monica Pier, coordinating logistics across pre-event build, live event operations, media coordination, and same-day content delivery to local news outlets. Coverage video accumulated millions of views on YouTube.
Led a multi-year digital modernization of the 1934 landmark, building the connected digital infrastructure across more than 100 independent vendors operating at one address. Content systems, audience architecture, and paid media infrastructure designed as one operating layer, the same pattern Generaite now installs for multi-operator organizations.
Architected the production and technical infrastructure for Coachella's first live virtual reality broadcast to YouTube Live, capturing the festival in a format that had not existed at scale before.
Produced the in-stadium video content played during NFL games to drive crowd engagement at Soldier Field. Live-event content designed for real-time execution in a high-stakes operational environment.
Led video content production for the 25-city national touring car show that fueled the cultural scene behind the Fast and Furious franchise. Content amassed millions of YouTube views in the earliest era of the platform.
Produced a year-long digital content campaign documenting the Guard's custom car build program, creating visibility among custom car enthusiasts, a community traditional recruiting channels could not reach.
Produced, shot, and edited online content during the brand's transition from print legacy to digital-first publishing.
Produced for major record labels including Capitol Records, Sony Columbia, and DreamWorks Records during the industry's analog-to-digital transition. Video work for those productions led directly into brand-side content development as digital video scaled.
Sony, Foster Grant, Sprint, Samsung, and others across two decades of digital content, brand activation, and marketing systems development.
Two tracks. One methodology.
Anchored by the Signworld Owners Alliance partnership
Generaite provides digital systems and managed services under agreement with Signworld Owners Alliance, a national alliance of more than 340 independent sign companies across the United States. The engagement spans the full operational and visibility stack.
We built the custom web platform that Signworld's owners use to operate the alliance's infrastructure. The application was designed from the ground up around how the alliance actually works, replacing fragmented off-the-shelf tools with a single operating environment that scales with the network.
We manage the hosting infrastructure for the alliance's client-facing web properties, taking direct responsibility for the platform layer that supports member-facing communication, marketing, and presence online.
We are building the monthly digital marketing program that layers on top of that infrastructure: visibility across SEO, local search, and AI-driven discovery, content and authority development, and the connected systems that turn visibility into operational outcomes for the alliance and its members.
This is what Generaite does at full scope. Custom infrastructure where off-the-shelf tools don't fit. Managed operations where trust matters. Visibility and growth systems built on top of a foundation that actually supports them.
The architecture behind that platform applies to franchise networks, professional associations, and multi-location businesses of any kind: centralized governance, distributed operational nodes, shared intelligence infrastructure. The same pattern that runs Signworld's alliance can run any organization where members need autonomy within a shared system.
The partnership is the working model for how Generaite modernizes a vertical, and the foundation of our deepest expertise in the sign industry.
Established businesses that share the same modernization need
These are typically service businesses, professional firms, or industry-specific operators who have outgrown their current systems and want a partner who thinks in infrastructure, not tactics.
If that's your business, the next step is a conversation.
